Today is the day many fans have been waiting for, the launch of RobotUnderdog`s highly anticipated live-action web series entitled "Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope." The pilot episode of Light of Hope makes its way to YouTube.
Episode one of Light of Hope definitely lives up to our expectations, it even exceeds it. For a production that is fan funded on a minimal budget, we can surely say we are impressed. The acting is very innovative, and never mundane. Action is on point, and shouldn`t even disappoint the occasional judgmental fan! The story is an interesting take on the History of Trunks, and we cannot wait to see Episode 2! What a time to be alive, to see Dragon Ball Z adapted into Live Action the right way, we can only assume the upcoming episode will be better!
Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope will be a three-part, live action, mini web series, that is being put together by a team by called RobotUnderdog. It will be based on and corresponding with the events of the "alternate timeline", which became popular through the TV special Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks. For the record, this is a live action web adaptation. This project is NOT intended to be identical to the aforementioned TV special. It is, however, based on the future timeline of events where Trunks, Gohan and Bulma struggle to stay alive (despite all of the casualties) from the murderous Androids, 17 and 18.
